College speaking opportunity
If speaking to college students is one of your target audience markets, one of the largest collegiate conferences has just announced a Call for Speakers announcement.
Speaking at AFLV is one of the collegiate conferences I've spoken at several times, and every time I speak I earn multiple spin-off speaking business. In fact, my professional speaking business (college and corporate) wouldn't be where it is today if it weren't for speaking at collegiate conferences several years ago. This is actually how I started speaking.
So if you're passionate about spreading your message to college students, and specifically fraternity and sorority audiences, then I can't recommend highly enough to submit multiple programs to speak at this upcoming conference.
(tip: I'd recommend submitting 4-5 programs in hopes they select 2 of them.)
The best way to GROW your speaking business in 2020 is to attend conferences and showcase your program.
It's impossible for college students to book you to speak if they don't know about you. And college students rarely will book a speaker they haven't seen.
Knowing how to properly submit for a Call for Speakers announcement like the one below is how you will get accepted to speak at conferences. They'll likely have hundreds of submissions and only 30-40 speaking slots.
Once you're at the event, being one of the best speakers is often how you'll be selected as the keynote the following year and get immediate spin-off inquiries. This is my model ... and it works.
Click the image below to see what a Call for Speakers announcement requires. It's relatively basic (but not simple) and any Call for Speakers will require this same information. If you're reviewing this information and don't feel "ready" or know how to submit, then I'd highly recommend checking back in with me for some guidance. Your 2020 speaking opportunities will be significantly impacted if you're not submitting these inquiries properly. Let me help. I've already been there ... and bought the t-shirt.
If you'd like guidance and/or my review of your Call for Speakers submission, I've opened up limited spots on my calendar for the next week to help you submit your Call for Speakers proposal. I'm specifically calling it "Call for Speakers Coaching!"
*** Or perhaps you're submitting for a professional conference and would appreciate my guidance to help you craft your submission properly so it stands out and differentiates you as the clear choice for the conference.
Here's what "Call for Speakers Coaching" includes: (1) Brand new Tip Sheet walking you through the important elements of submitting a proposal
(2) 1st coaching call: 45 minute pre-submission coaching call with me to talk through your event and share guidance (45 minutes) (3) My personal review of your submission materials with feedback provided and an overall assessment (2.0+ hours) (4) 2nd coaching call: 45 minute follow up coaching call with me to discuss my feedback, discuss more questions from you, review your final submission, and discuss tips to help you prepare for submission and the speech itself! (45 minutes)
** My normal coaching rate is $399/hour and I've valued my "Call for Speakers Coaching" at $1,299. However, while I'm home with my new baby girl this coming week, I'm offering my "Call for Speakers Coaching" for just $399 only to those of you on my PAID to $PEAK subscriber list.
If you feel $399 is a value to help you know how to consistently earn $3,500 speaking engagements at colleges and universities all over the country, then I look forward to speaking with you.
You can also take my guidance and recommendations to apply it with other conference Call for Speakers submissions as well. I'll show you how to do that. In my opinion, this short-term coaching opportunity will be one of the best investments you've ever made.
But I'm only offering this for the next week only.
