Quick and easy ways to get speaking leads in 2018!

Meeting planners and event organizers are booking like crazy right now. It's not too late to set up your 2018 with several speaking opportunities early on.

Also, know this ... that over 1/2 my speaking leads this January and February came from "unconventional sources" I commonly hear don't work for other speakers.

I love debunking myths and assumptions, which is why I share these "PAID to SPEAK" speaker tips with you.

The majority of speakers I know get frustrated and quit 2 feet from gold! Don't let that be you.

Know this ... one of my largest speaking contracts in 2017 came from Thumbtack and one of my largest speaking contracts ahead in 2018 came from Gig Salad.

It's not just being on these sites though ... you have to respond quickly, have solid
DEMO VIDEO, have a good website that they can refer to, and have a process for responding to inquiries.

 

I do VERY WELL when responding to inquiries because I follow a specific system.

 

I outline my system in full detail in my book PAID to SPEAK, but below is a snapshot:

1) Set up profile

2) Inquiries

3) Send initial email with tiered proposal to set up phone call (NO pricing yet!)

4) Have phone call (use "Phone Script" in PAID to SPEAK book!)

5) Follow up with customized proposal after discussion with pricing and deadline

6) Follow up (if needed)

7) Send contract and collect deposit payment

 

BOOM BOOM POW!

 

This process works for me nearly 100% of the time.
