How I prepare for an upcoming speech

November 2, 2018

A speaker never just shows up for a speech. It might appear that way to the audience, but only if the speaker makes it look easy because they’ve prepared correctly.

In this video, I’m going to outline some of the steps I take to prepare for a professional speech, what I do the day of, and how I follow up afterward with attendees and the meeting planner.

You’ll quickly see that I never just SHOW UP and LEAVE. In fact, 95% of the time and energy I invest in a speech occurs before and after the speech – not even during it.
