My advice for becoming a TEDx speaker
Ever had the desire to speak at a TEDx event? Curious how to get on the stage?
I've been a TEDx speaker, served on the TEDx Executive Team as a speaker coach for several TEDx events, and also been a lead organizer for TEDxRaleigh. In this short video, I'll give you an introduction on how to find TEDx opportunities and outline common selection processes by TEDx organizers. If you have an idea worth sharing and want to speak at TEDx, this video will help you get started.
Your TEDx video will likely be the most watched video you could ever have. In my opinion it trumps any demo video you could make on your own because you're on the TED/TEDx Youtube channel, their platform, AND you have the credibility of being a TEDx speaker.
