Become a College Speaker -- prepare now for February 2 application deadline
Want to become a college speaker?
Desire to get PAID for speaking at COLLEGES?
There are over 4,000 colleges and universities in the United States and each one has multiple opportunities where they seek speakers for faculty, staff, student and parent events.
Those 4,000 institutions can be further broken down into public, private, university and community colleges.
Moreover, add in collegiate associations!
There are so many opportunities to speak at colleges and universities that it can actually be overwhelming. But it doesn't have to be. I'm here to help you.
Events I've spoken include new student orientations, fraternity and sorority life activities, leadership conferences, counseling and wellness events, athletic events, banquets of all types, convocations, commencements,
Before launching into speaking full-time, I was:
* Dean of Students at High Point University
* Director of Academic Advising at UCF
* Coordinator of Student Affairs at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
* Hall Director at USC
If you have a passionate desire to speak to college students, then you're reading this at the right time. CAMPUSPEAK hires speakers for all types of collegiate events.
I have been with the CAMPUSPEAK speakers agency since 2006 and have one of the longest tenures with them.
I've also coached several of their new speakers so I know what CAMPUSPEAK is looking for in reviewing applications.
If you'd like to be represented by CAMPUSPEAK, I can help you get your application together if you'd like.
(1) CAMPUSPEAK'S deadline is February 2 to apply to be on their speaker roster.
(2) I'm offering discounted coaching calls through January 29 specifically to talk with you 1:1 about applying. Click here to take advantage.
Once you book your session with me, I recommend that you first visit my speaker page on the CAMPUSPEAK website. Take notes on college verbiage and program topics that colleges book speakers for. You'll need this information to help you get your creative juices flowing and to help you put your application together.
Second, take notes on other speakers on their roster. But don't get overwhelmed in a rabbit hole. They represent over 50 speakers so there's a lot of information. Also, don't get intimidated. We all put our pants on the same way.
Third, review the CAMPUSPEAK application criteria -- click here.
This July you could be on the CAMPUSPEAK roster, sharing your powerful message with students AND getting PAID to do it.
But you have to submit a darn good application to be selected. Over 100 applicants and only 6-8 speakers (at most) are selected. This is where I can help you.
Of course you can do submit on your own and hope OR you can take advantage of my help and submit the right way.
Click here to schedule a discounted 30-minute 1:1 session with me to talk about the application process and any questions you have. If you need multiple sessions, we can further discount for you.
Discounts only good through January 22.
Wish you the best in your college speaking endeavors!!
