FIVE ways to increase speaking fee

I've never met a speaker who didn't get frustrated about speaking fee. Look, seeking creative ways to enhance speaking fee isn't about greed; rather, it's about being proactive as a business owner to provide more value to your client and being compensated accordingly. In fact, being able to charge more for a speech means you know what you're doing. And there is a psychology to speaking fee. If you're not charging enough, guess what a meeting planner or event organizer thinks? If you're being compared to five other speakers and you're charging the least amount, they very likely think you're not good enough and the least qualified. So let me help you prevent that from happening! As professional speakers, we are business owners. We are entrepreneurs. And until that reality becomes the foundation for how we operate our speaking business, we don't actually have a business. We have a hobby and, as a result, we will attract a hobby income.

Are you tired of not getting paid enough for your speaking? Our speaking fee will never reach its full potential until we know how to operate our speaking like a business. I have learned this the hard way over the past near 20 years! So if you're tired of doing FIVE different things to make a living and would prefer to just focus on ONE thing (i.e. your speaking business!), then this blog is for YOU ... If you're near-exhausted with never being able to get the speaking fee you know you deserve, then this blog is for YOU ... Let me help you STOP dabbling in $0 - $1,000 contracts and position yourself to earn $2,500 - $4,500+ per speech from the start! Below are FIVE ways any speaker can apply to immediately increase speaking fee: 1) Offer a tiered speaking proposal with three "menu" options. 2) Offer to present additional presentations such as breakout sessions or a pre-conference session. (conference organizers LOVE this!)

3) Offer books, eBooks, and customized books with their logo (this is my differentiator!) 4) Offer a customized welcome video (conference organizers LOVE this too!) 5) Offer yourself all day, offer a Q & A, or be agreeable to serve as an Emcee *** Of course, there are more than just FIVE ways to increase speaking fee, but these above strategies are a great start. Focus on these first!

And if you don't have these strategies already incorporated, then start there. If any of my FIVE suggestions don't make sense, or you have questions, or you want to see samples of what I provide, then reach out to me for a coaching call (click here). A recent coaching client added a ZERO to their speaking fee and got the speaking contract!
